The Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Hormozgan was established in 2018. The faculty is currently active in admitting students in the undergraduate programs of Chemical Engineering and Safety and Technical Inspection Engineering, as well as the Master's program in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Transport Phenomena. The main goal of the faculty is to provide skill-based education for its students, ensuring that upon graduation, they have not only mastered theoretical coursework but have also acquired the practical skills and industrial knowledge necessary to enter the job market. In addition to its educational activities across various fields of chemical and petroleum engineering, the faculty conducts extensive research, resulting in significant achievements to date. The majority of completed theses have been related to the petroleum industries of the province. Launching new undergraduate and graduate programs is among the faculty's future plans.
